- Summary
- Three full-length figures of Vietnam soldiers in bronze. The three are dressed in combat uniforms. The soldier in front is lying, wounded, his head resting in the lap of the soldier behind him. His legs are lying twisted on the ground, his proper right arm hangs at an angle. The soldier supporting the wounded soldier is kneeling. In his proper right hand he holds a rifle. He wears a helmet. Grabbing his proper left hand is a third soldier who stands on the proper left of the scene. He is moving forward, pulling at the kneeling soldier with his proper right hand. In his proper left hand he holds a rifle. He wears a helmet. The figures stand on a round bronze self-base of twigs. The sculpture rests on a stone base.
