- Description
- The image is in a horizontal rectangle. A box with a pediment is shown, whose general shape is that of a triangle. The front consists of a base and two angels at the corners and two gaines of empty armors inside. In the centre is a skull with a miter upon a base supported by two small angels, beside are two skulls with helmets, standing together with bones upon bases. The big angels at the corners are lifting a curtain. On top of the pediment are two angels with miter and palm branches; below them two cherubim above a festoon; below it, a monogram of a chi rho; above an escutcheon. Construction is lined with pencil.
