Description
A black-and-white photograph of Asia One and Masami performing at the Rock Steady Crew 25th Anniversary, Manhattan Center, 2002.
Asia One is on the left of the image and Masami is on the right. They both have their proper right arms raised and bent in front of their faces and their left arms down by their sides. Asia One is jumping slight off of the ground with her toes pointed down. Masami's right foot is slightly raised. They are both leaning back. They are both wearing loose track pants and white sneakers. Asia One's pants are bunched up below the knee. Asia One has short hair and a sweatband and is wearing a jersey with partially obscured lettering and a large number 2. Masami's hair is long and pulled into a half ponytail. She is wearing a jersey which reads [ROCK / STEADY / CREW]. They are both wearing short sleeve white t-shirts under the jerseys. There is a large group of people, mostly men and younger boys, standing behind them as they dance. An "EXIT' sign and a "NO / SMOKING" sign are visible in the background. On the verso is the photographer's signature in blue ink and an inscription in the same hand that reads [Asia One & Masami].
