Body carved from single piece of wood and painted red and black horizontally … triangular lateen sail woven of leaf strips; also a tiller and a wooden scoop bailer … Donor says: "Typical color pattern of canoes of Woleai District, hull not as deep draft as should be, and outrigger shorted and Thicker than should be for size of hull." Dr. S. Riesenberg says: "Though made for sale it is fairly accurate."
