- Landscape and architectural study of vivid sunset over the town of Hudson, N.Y. In the foreground, the top of various buildings are visible, including a steeple at left and a dome, center. In the middle distance, Hudson River is vaguely visible, while valley extends to hazy horizon. Above, a fiery sunset stretches across the sky. The light of the setting sun illuminates several horizontal bands of clouds in vibrant hues of yellow, orange, and red. Patches of dark blue sky visible along upper margin.
