- Description
- This scene of the open gardens at the Hachiman Shrine in Fukagawa contrasts with bright red azaleas and pink cherry blossoms. Typically these two species bloom about a month apart. While many visitors are admiring the splendors of nature, this scene is a figment of Hiroshige’s imagination.
