- Description
- Vertical rectangle. Design for a salt or pepper cellar intended to be executed in silver with a green-blue glass bowl. The design corresponds to that of 1938-88-649 with vine instead of blossom festoons: below is a circular base with a part of a sphere in the center. The supports are four scroll legs, fluted in the lower parts of the front and fastened together by a ring with rosettes. Above are Medusa masks which are connected by festoons, upon the bowl. The rim has a wave ornament. A flat sphere cover is sketched in graphite.
