This accession consists of the personal papers of Alice Pike Barney (1857-1931). The papers include a large collection of photographs of Alice and her children, Laura Dreyfus-Barney and Natalie Barney; correspondence to and from the Barney family; scrapbooks of newspaper clippings and memorabilia; and original patents received by Alice Barney. The papers also include research files for the years 1857-1933 on Alice Pike Barney, her family and associates.
