- The three volumes of letters sent cover the period November 1865–December 1868, 1 (379), 2 (380), and 3 (381). Volume 1 (379) is arranged in chronological order and numbered. Volumes 2 (380) and 3 (381) are arranged chronologically, and all the volumes have name indexes.
