- The three volumes of letters sent, May 1867–November 1868, 1 (171), 2 (172), and 3 (173), are arranged chronologically, and volumes 2 (172) and 3 (173) have name indexes. There are two indexes in volume 3 (173): one is to the addressee of the letter, and the other is to the persons mentioned in the letter.
