The original title of the album is: "The pictures of sondry things collected and counterfeited according to the truth in the voyage made by Sr. Walter Raleigh knight for the discovery of LA VIRGINEA. In the 27th yeare of the most happie reigne of our Soveraigne lady Queene Elizabeth And in the yeare of our Lorde God. 1585." The drawings include depictions of Southern Algonquian people, towns, ceremonies, and daily life; Inuit people; Timucua people; Tupinambá people; Picts; maps; and plants, fish, insects, birds, and reptiles. There are duplicate drawings of the two Timucua drawings.
