- 1 p. INV 08631100. Sent to the BAE by Rev. S. D. Hinman of Standing Rock Agency, who obtained it in 1883 from Standing Rock agent Major McLaughlin, to whom it had been delivered by Chief Big Road when required to give an account of his followers. The drawing was made for the occasion with materials procured at the agency (Mallery, 10th Annual Report, BAE, p. 420). Selected images published in BAE 10th AR, Pl. XXVI and XXVII.
