- Scope and Contents
- This series consists of prints, negatives, and 35 mm slides. The prints include a scrapbook of 1950 photos from Moen Island in the Carolines. (For preservation reasons, the photos have been removed from the scrapbook pages.) Other photos of the Caroline Islands spanning the years 1953-1974 can be found in this series along with those taken by Harry Clifford Fassett in 1899-1900. The photos by Fassett are copies of images from the National Anthropological Archives. The series also contains a 1942 photo of John as a yeoman in the United States Naval Reserve; Fischer's home and surroundings in 1947, Cambridge, MA when he was at Harvard; and a Japanese wedding.
