- Pictures postcards, roughly half created individually, addressed to the American president, likely delivered to his daughter Alice Roosevedlt when she visited Japan in 1905. The backs of the postcards all have an identical stamp of the Kobe Picture Postcard Club. Most of the postcards have individual names and addresses of senders, as well as messages of congratulation and appreciation to the president during or after the Portsmouth Conference, in which he oversaw peace talks following the Russo-Japanese War.
