- Purchase of 9 Japanese and Korean works of paintings and lacquer from the Asian art dealer Yamanaka & Co. in New York. Purchases included 2 Japanese panel carvings of Buddhist apasaras, and a Korean painting of Avalokitesvara. Purchase was originally agreed upon in December of 1906, but payment was made in January of the following year.
