- Original title reads, "The African Timber & Plywood Limited at Sapele has 2,000 employes at the mill and 1,500 working in the forests. African Timber & Plywood Limited fells timber within about a 300-mile radius around Sapele, bringing the logs as much of the way as possible by water. Main buildings of plant are: plywood plant, power station (with stacks), shipping sheds, sawmill with giant crane framework." [Elisofon field notes, August 1959-December 1959]
