Scope and Contents: Anacostia Neighborhood Museum (ANM) opening day festivities: invocation, singing of the National Anthem, welcome address, speeches, benediction, and ribbon cutting. Speakers include S. Dillon Ripley, Robert Hooks, and Stanley Anderson; and a performance by a group from Our Lady of Perpetual Help. S. Dillon Ripley presents John Kinard with a guest book to record the visitors who come to ANM. Opening day visitors are interviewed regarding their thoughts on ANM.
