- Created in 1958, Arthur Hall Afro-American Dance Ensemble's repetorie of music and dance blends African, Caribbean, and Afro-American cultures. Each traditional dance is authentically costumed and choreograped to convey its meaning within the original society. Subjects of their work include slavery and revolution; requirem for Malcolm; traditional dance; and mosiac of Afro-American culture and thought.
