- This series contains photographs, oral history interviews, and cultural objects documenting the creative work of Asian American artists and artisans who have found inspiration in the ingredients, flavors, and food stories of their communities and ancestral traditions. Their work is bold and unique, while also rooted in traditional form and practice. They offer an alternative perspective on Chinese and Korean foodways in the Washington, DC metropolitan region. Materials were created or acquired in 2021.
