- Biographical / Historical
- Rhee Bros. Inc is a family-owned and -operated importer and distributor of food products from Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Headquartered in Hanover, Maryland, the company supplies over 4,000 dry, refrigerated and frozen products to Asian American markets, United States retail chains, club stores, restaurant chains, and foodservice companies. Founded by Korean immigrant Syng Man (Steve) Rhee in 1976, the business expanded with the help of his brothers, and operations are now in the hands of the next generation. In 2021, Syngman's son, Robin Rhee, is the company's president; and his cousin, Kevin Rhee, is director of operations.
