Scope and Contents: Correspondence, manuscript drafts and galleys, extensive notes, publication records, research material including artist-related correspondence and printed matter, and photographs, document Lippard's prolific writings on the subjects of individual artists such as Philip Evergood, Eva Hesse, Ad Reinhardt, and Tony Smith, conceptual, minimalist, and feminist art, and the relationship between art and activism. Recordings include one sound cassette, one sound disc (vinyl), eleven sound tape reels, and one electronic disc (CD).
