- The bulk of this series has been digitized. Materials which have not been digitized include blank pages, blank versos of photographs, and duplicates. In some cases, publications have had their covers, title pages, and relevant pages digitized.
- Scope and Contents note
- Found here are files on various aspects of Kuniyoshi's career and the sales of his work at galleries. These records include correspondence, printed material and other notes. Also found are files on projects and commissions, transcripts of the radio broadcast "Japan Against Japan," appraisals of artwork, authentications of artwork, card file inventories of Kuniyoshi's work owned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, art inventories of his work at various galleries as well as private collections, and records of his participation in the Woodstock Art Conference. Many of the files found here were created by Sara Mazo Kuniyoshi during the management of the sale of artwork after Kuniyoshi's death. Included are gallery records, especialy documenting Kuniyoshi's dealings with the Downtown Gallery and Zabriskie Galleries; files regarding art dealers and collectors in both the United States and Japan; and other records of gifts, publication, sales, and special projects.

- This collection is open for research. Access to original papers requires an appointment and is limited to the Archives' Washington, D.C. Research Center.
