- Scope and Contents
- The Armory Show retrospective exhibitions and publications consists of correspondence, photograph reproduction permissions, and photographs. The material in this series relate to the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Armory Show at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute in New York, as well as Milton Brown's book The Story of the Armory Show. In addition, there are loan requests for Armory Show artifacts to display in other retrospective exhibitions such as a centennial exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago. Photographs from The Story of the Armory Show are of Association of American Painters and Sculptors members, artwork, documents, and exhibition installations.
