- Eighteen plates bound in a volume from three different print series, all published by Gabriel Huquier. The first two series of six prints each, labelled A and B, are after designs by Peyrotte. The last six plates are designed by Huquier and are from a series of twelve. The ornament designs feature rocaille motifs, acanthus leaves, shells, c-scrolls, flowers, fruits, fretwork, rosettes, gadrooning, palmettes etc.
- Binding: Mottled calf with gold tooling on covers, edges, and spine, red leather lettering piece with ‘ORNEMENT/ ROCAILLE/ PAR/ PEYROTTE’ tooled in gold, marbled endpapers and red edges (red of endpapers is brighter). Probably 19th century.
