- The Postal Service issued a 32-cent Tropical Birds commemorative stamp on July 29, 1998, in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
- Designed by Phil Jordan of Falls Church, Virginia, and illustrated by Robert Giusti of New Milford, Connecticut, the stamps were printed by the Banknote Corporation of America, Inc., in the offset process.
