National Museum of African American History and Culture To Be Honored at the 24th Annual TEA Thea Awards

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture has received the Thea Award from the Themed Entertainment Association for “Outstanding Achievement” by a museum. TEA announced the recipients of their 24th annual Thea Awards, which recognize achievement, talent and excellence within the themed-entertainment industry. Internationally recognized as the equivalent of an Academy Awards in the themed-entertainment industry, the museum will be formally awarded April 7, 2018, at the TEA gala in Anaheim, Calif.
