The National Air and Space Museum will receive an F/A-18C from the Navy’s Blue Angels at its Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. It was one of the first C models built, delivered to the Navy in 1987. The legacy Hornets (the A/B/C/D models) were retired at the end of the 2020 season in favor of the considerably larger Super Hornet (the E and F models).

The F/A-18C will fly into Dulles and taxi to the Udvar-Hazy Center Nov. 18. When it arrives at Udvar-Hazy, museum staff and the pilot will be available for one-on-one interviews.

Safety: While on-site, everyone will be required to wear face coverings and follow all new procedures for outlined here.
