The exhibition depicts the comic book superhero as a hero of popular culture, illustrated through various forms of the media from 1938 to the present. Items on view include comic books, an original radio script, and costume items from Superman movies. A short film featuring the Man of Steel, his friends and foes, plays in the exhibition area.
