Perspectives debuts with 2 installation pieces—Dots Obsession (1999) and Infinity Mirrored Room Love Forever (1996)—by the world-class Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, a pioneer of installation and performance art with an intensely personal vision. She represented Japan in the Venice Biennale of 1993 and her works have been shown at such places as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Los Angeles County Museum of Modern Art. These works are the first in a 5-year series of contemporary installations collectively titled Perspectives.
