This gallery explores the universe, its makeup, and its possible habitation.

Highlights include:

  • Powers of Ten, a Charles Eames film on current theories regarding the origin and development of the universe and life itself
  • Pick-a-Star allows visitors to manipulate various factors to create hypothetical planetary systems and extraterrestrial lifeforms
  • U.S.S. Enterprise, the studio model from the Star Trek television series
  • Equipment used to create organic molecules in a simulated primitive Earth environment
