Scope and Contents
Unbound monthly reports of marriages, July 1865–August 1865, are arranged chronologically. The reports provide the names and ages of the couple, dates of marriage, where married and by whom, and the number of male and female children. The single unbound report of the marriage of George Washington and Lizzie Arthur is dated August 17, 1865.
