SAAM Time-based Media Art Conservation Laboratory
Established in 2016, the SAAM time-based media art conservation lab is fully-equipped to handle all types of digital reformatting for the museum's video collections. Located in the Victor Building, it features a full digital forensics suite FRED workstation. Film inspection and conservation are also supported. Working collaboratively, several other units periodically borrow SAAM's vaunted HD-Cam SR deck.
