- This video features Olivia Cadaval, the curator of the 2011 Folklife Festival program Colombia: The Nature of Culture. She has curated numerous Festival programs, including the 2010 Mexico program, she has worked extensively on documentation, public programs, and education projects in the Latino community of Washington, D.C. She published a book Creating a Latino Identity in the Nation's Capital: The Latino Festival and has written for a number of publications including Urban Odyssey, Creative Ethnicity, Washington at Home, New York Folklore, the Journal of Folklore Research, and The Public Historian.
