- Description
- This wire model includes five vertical circular rings, each joined by three symmetric line segments to its own inner, smaller, circular ring. All of these parts are painted black. Like endpoints of the segments are joined at both ends to form six larger circles, painted red. A tag on the model reads: No. 533 Anchor Ring. The term anchor ring often was used for a torus (a donut-shaped surface), and this appears to be a skeleton model of a solid torus.
