- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered this sermon titled “Why I Oppose the War in Vietnam” in 1967 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. In it he called the war “unjust, evil, and futile” and "an enemy of the poor.”
