- Description
- White stoneware, thrown. Ovoid body that is widest at shoulder, gradually tapering in from shoulder to rim, thick lip; no foot. Decorated with tall slender trees, foliage, and underbrush in silhouette. Lower third of form is decorated with underbrush, and tree foliage fills the top third to the rim. Trees and foliage in dark gray-brown against ivory background. Exterior: slip underglaze, transparent matte Vellum glaze; crackled. Interior and bottom: glaze, white.
