- Summary
- This container was installed in the Lunar Module, Eagle, prior to launch and contained several pieces of equipment intended to support the astronauts during the first ever Apollo 11 lunar landing efforts. Equipment (not present) included water filters, two utility lights with cords and clamps, stowage bags, dust caps, and straps. Although not specificly listed as an item to be transferred from the Lunar Module to the Command Module after the former returned to lunar orbit, it was. The container was transferred to the Smithsonain along with the remaining contents of the Command Module in 1970.
