- A 33 1/3 rpm record album titled "Standing on the Verge of Getting It On," recorded by Funkadelic, produced by George Clinton, and written by Clinton, Bernie Worrell, and Eddie Hazel with the record label Westbound Records. The double-sided vinyl disc (2022.31.1a) has a colorful [WESTBOUND RECORDS] label with the album information in black text. The record jacket (2022.31.1b) is printed in color. The cover art was designed by George Clinton and Pedro Bell and drawn by Bell and his brother Bruse Bell. It depicts an outer space landscape with several characters with human and non-human characteristics running with a banner [UNITED STREAKER FRONT], three cliffs, and a body of water. On the bottom left corner in black text is the label name.
- The back of the record jacket continues the theme of an outer space landscape with characters on a ship saying [THERE’S NOTHING HARDER / TO STOP THAN A IDEA / WHOSE TIME HAS COME / TO PASS! FUNKADELIC / IS WOT TIME IT IS!]. At the top center is the album list in two columns. In the upper right corner in right text is label number [SEWA 040]. The bottom features the label information and barcode.
