- Description
- The John C. Green Observatory for student instruction was erected at Princeton University in 1877, and equipped with a 9½ inch refracting telescope made by Alvan Clark & Sons of Cambridgeport, Mass. This spectroscope was designed for use with that telescope. It was made by the Clarks, and could hold either a prism or a diffraction grating.
