Description (Brief)
Burton snowboard boots with a white and grey herringbone pattern with red carnations throughout worn by Hannah Teter at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic games. Teter won the silver medal in the halfpipe competition in these Burton boots which the company began gearing towards women ten years earlier. Teter began snowboarding in 1995 at the age of 8 and by the time she was17 she had competed in seven World Cup events with four victories. She began competing in the X-Games in 2003, winning gold in the Superpipe and 6 bronze medals through 2016. At 19 she had won gold at the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic games and won silver in the next Olympic Games in Vancouver. Injury setbacks have not deterred Teter from honing her craft and she continues to snowboard on the world circuit. Teter is also known for her charity work and is an ambassador for the Special Olympics.
