- At base of tall shaft, a full-length robed female figure stands carrying circular shield with an eagle and stars design in her left hand and a sword in her right. She wears sandals. At the top of the shaft is a classically designed bronze urn. On the sides of the shaft are two raised laurel wreaths cut from the granite shaft. Names of veterans listed above the wreaths. On the back of the shaft is a bronze wreath with oak leaves and acorns on one side; laurel leaves on the other. Granite and concrete steps lead up to the shaft.
