- Summary
- Against tall rectangular stone wall stand a group of five figures, four uniformed male figures representing the branches of the military, and one female figure representing the Goddess of War. The military figures, dressed in uniforms of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, stand two in front and two in back. Rising above them is the Goddess of War wearing a helmet and breast plate. She holds a laurel branch of victory in her raised proper right hand and a spear and shield of war in her proper right hand. The figures stand on a low rectangular base adorned on each side with low rectangular extension walls bearing bronze plaques that commemorate the wars following World War I. A few feet in front of the monument is a footed stone urn.
