- Description
- The Color-Tone Shampoo line was produced by the Helena Rubinstein Company from about 1950 to 1970. These products were not dyes, but were made from a "special formula" advertised as safe for children. They came in five different tones: Blonde, Silver, Gold, Brunette, and Redhead.
- Silver-tone shampoo was marketed to eliminate yellowing and brassiness for gray or white hair. This bottle is dated around 1952 to 1957.
