- Shown in profile, galloping toward left. In the middle ground are represented on a small scale two sisters of Caligula brutalized by soldiers, a third killed by them; two officers kneeling in adoration; a statue of the emperor diguised as Jupiter adored by a couple; Caligula killed by soldiers. Rich moulded frame.
