- On a white background, in the upper half of the sheet an illegible scrawled signature in black above a blue handled nib pen below with the name STEINBERG on the handle. Centered in the lower section of the sheet, two leaves of a folio are reproduced. On the left a greening sheet of paper with cream along left side, and on the right a facsimilie of a ledger sheet. Both sheets are marked with what appears to be a late 18th century hand although the writing itself is illegible. Both sheets bear stamps; blue ship at left and a t right a red ship. Below title: Reflections on the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, Philadelphia 1776, and inscription.
