- A circular metal pin-back button. The button has a white background with red type that reads: [SHIRLEY CHISHOLM for PRESIDENT] around the top and ["_to represent all Americans"] around the bottom. The center of the button has a black-and-white depiction of Shirley Chisholm inside a red female symbol. Black text around the edge of the button reads: [(c) 1972 A. G. TRIMBLE E CO. PGH, PA.15222)]. The edge also has a diamond logo that reads [AFL-CIO IUDTW]. The back of the button is silver in color, and has a single pin without a clasp.
