- This ford crossed the creek where the current Blue Rd. turns the corner to climb the hill to Holt House and the hospital. "Keller N.Y 1901" is written on the back of vintage print 2024-A. "In accordance with the Secretary's (Langley) wish, as expressed to the Superintendent of the park, photographs were made of the lower ford. The work was done by Mr. E. F. Keller, of New York City, who had previously visited the Park several times to do work for the American Museum of Natural History. Several of the photographs which he had made on these occasions were used in the Secretary's annual report for 1900. Mr. Keller is also the official photographer of the New York Zoological Society."
