Description
A black-and-white photograph of North Greenwood Ave. in Tulsa, Oklahoma, prior to the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot. The photograph was taken looking north down the avenue from East Archer Street. The Williams Building is visible on the left side of the photograph. A sign that reads “Dentist” is visible on the second story of the Williams Building. Across the street the east side of N. Greenwood Ave. is visible. On the far right side of the photograph is the Woods Building. The Dreamland Theater is at the center of the photograph, the last building visible on the east side of the street. Several cars are parked on the east side of the avenue and people are seen walking or standing around the street. One figure on the corner outside the Williams building has a bicycle. There are no marks or inscriptions, front or back.
