- Description
- This handheld electronic calculator has a tan plastic case with rectangular brown plastic buttons. In addition to ten digit keys, it has a decimal point key, a percentage key, four arithmetic function keys, a squared key, a square root key, and an inverse key. The top row of keys includes the on/off switch, clear key, clear entry key, and a memory key. Behind the keyboard is an eight-digit light-emitting diode display. A mark above this reads: Collins (/) 823. An outlet for an adapter is on the left side.
- The back of the calculator has a battery compartment with cover and printed operating instructions. There are four metal screws holding the back and front of the case together, but one of them is stuck.
- No records of a calculator manufacturer by the name of Collins found as yet. The trademark of Collins Radio Company is different from the mark on the calculator.
