- Silver gelatin print from a series of original photographs taken during the production of the 1935 educational short film, "A Journey by Train", produced by the Text Film Corp., Hollywood, CA. This print depicts the interior of a train dining car. The car has five tables set for dinner with four of them occupied by travelers. At the back of the car a man in a dark suit is standing in the doorway holding something in his hands and facing the diners. To this man's left is an African American busboy dressed in a white uniform facing three of the occupied tables. The front left corner contains an identification tag within the photograph that reads "A JOURNEY BY TRAIN copyright by TEXT FILM CORP. HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. 101-54"
